The juxtaposition of mark gottfried and Chirstian offers a great opportunity to evaluate Christian's coaching acumen, and it's really good.

Gottfried is the worst coach in the ACC so I should hope so.

Very good win.
Robinson, Bowman, Turner and Popovich all are very good talents. The team needs 3 more like them because drop between Pop and the 5th best player is precipitous.
Pop had a real nice move on one play where he backed down the Max Ricci look-a-like and did a nice baby hook in the paint. He gets that shot down, he could be special.

They played up-tempo pretty much the whole game. Shot clock only came into play a handful of times. That is exactly the way should be playing all the time.

I don't think we're getting 2 more years out of the Robinson and Bowman backcourt. Depending how things play out, we might have to cross our fingers to get one more. Odds of either leaving are nontrivial and rising.

The road to relevance is more visible than it's been since the bottom fell out on Donahue...Need one more year of Bowman/Robinson, somebody who can play the 4 (Kraljevic? Sagay? Grad transfer?), make the tourney, kill it in the 2018 recruiting class.

This offense would be deadly if Tava could make 3s.

Unlike Odio and Owens, Tava only launches 3s late in the shot clock so I am fine with it.

Everytime Odio or Owens launched a 3 early in the shot clock it would cause an EO meltdown
