Bowman has a ton of natural talent but he is so frustrating with mistakes and lack of control. Someone needs to tell him he isn't playing against high school competition any more.

ive been pleasantly surprised with Reyes. Obv there is a learning curve with big guys (it never happened with Diallo since he couldnt catch), but Reyes should be a nice piece considering how small this lineup is

I thought you were going to say this. I honestly had to check last night if he was even still on the roster, he (thankfully) hasnt played at all this year, I assume hes getting PT only because Popovic is out ?

No way should we have the worst basketball and football teams in the ACC, I just can't push myself to accept that fact. But it looks like that's a true statement. I hope we can eek out an ACC victory this year

Legit question, could anyone have been reasonably expected to turn this thing around? The roster imbalance, transfers/lack of talent that he inherited made this situation almost impossible for anyone not named Jay Wright.

I've never seen a program in need of such a rebuild, so idk...

UVA, Duke are worse. We are on par with Wake and Cuse. So not literally the worst, but most assuredly in the basement

NCST and Wake are worse as well so that's at least a third of the conference

The answer is No. JC isn't a bad coach, this is a completely impossible situation

This has morphed into last year's team. 4 guys stand around and watch Robinson chuck up I'll-advised shots. The rest of these kids are either too timid (AJ, Chatman, etc.) or playing at the wrong level of basketball.

The other problem is Jc trying to play through the post on offense. Jeffers and Tava absolutely blow at anything on the offensive end, stop passing them the ball in the post.

For folks my age, it would be like starting Dave Hinton with Hrobowski/Corey Jackson in the same frontcourt. No production, why bother. It's about the guards and the small forwards.

Were Eisley/Abram/Huckaby like this their freshman yr?

no, but they had a mickyd's burger boy to help them out. these freshman have no outlet to a good player option.

He is a 3 and D guy. We have far too many of those.
