I would be completely unsurprised if he was so put off by the disgusting quality of Under Armour basketballs that he decided to transfer to a school where he can shoot normal balls more successfully

Hate to see him go, but he probably saw the writing on the wall with the Bowman signing. Unfortunately, this is what happens when young/decent players get recruited over. All part of building a stronger team. As it was, he didn't get a ton of minutes last year and wasn't due for an increase with the Graves/Bowman coming in.

It is a shame. Milon would have played a meaningful role on next year's team. I don't think Bowman had anything to do with his leaving. I think the team going 0-fer-ACC did. So, to recap... we lost Diallo and Milon but somehow Mez is still on scholarship. Great.

I personally prefer Milon to SBT or Hicks but if he wants to go to Harvard or the like I wouldn't hold it against him.

I'd like him to stick around, and he would help this team, but this is not the end of the world. The guys you don't want to leave (based on talent only) are Turner, Robinson and SBT. I'd have put Milon in that group, but barely.

Is Diallo actually gone?

I'd put Reyes over SBT.

I was going on talent. I almost added a tall guy just because we need one so bad, but instead I qualified my list with "based on talent only." Reyes may be in that group, but we haven't really seen it yet. We know SBT is capable of playing good ball at this level.

I believe once he has success as a transfer, it becomes standard operating board procedure to maintain that he didn't succeed at BC because he was fat. Certain brave posters with Al Skinner avatars may attempt to dispel this fiction, but it will be in vain.

I would rather Meznieks stay and become a semi-effective player than have us win an ACC game next year.

The embarrassing thing isn't that no one noticed. It's that he quit the board because of 'moJ.
