Few more than that, but agreed.

sure I think aj will certainly turn into that but in his current state? nope

Anderson maybe? Rahon?

His current state should be 15 minutes off the bench.

Anderson and Rahon with their current bodies yes. Their physique at BC no. Those two kids look like totally different basketball players

His current state should have been getting more touches until he gained confidence. He's clearly one of the best 2-3 players on this team, he just played timid all season and I think we know why.

So with a thousand qualifications I agree with the original premise. If Hanlan broke a leg, then no, but healthy, yes.

In fairness, he's only a 25-12 guy in a program where he's one of the only players that should get more than 10-12 minutes. In a real program, he's only a 16 and 10 guy

The shitty habit I'll be telling my grandkids about for the 2015-16 Golden Eagles:

Matt Milon: Matador Defense
SBT: Soft shooting foul leading to inevitable And-1
AJ Turner: any and all 3's
Dennis Clifford: Passing from the interior
Garland Owens: immediate foul after missing an offensive rebounds
Meznieks: Deranged look/yelling after any call goes against him
Diallo - Touching the Ball
JC Reyes - His unbelievably soft defense/rebounding
Eli Carter: Eli Carter

Guys like Owens, Meznieks, that play hard and take on roles that they can't possibly perform, yeah, its not good but they don't get my scorn. My scorn is reserved for the guy that recruited to put them in that position and guys that don't seem to play hard or care, like Carter.

i think it would be fitting that carter foul out and exit his last game in a bc uniform to the sound of crickets as he walks to the bench.

even more fitting would be to skip the bench altogether and just shower and hit the bricks

This team is light years better when they get out and run and make things a little dirty. Even Carter is better in that sense of chaos.

The man to man defense, on ball, is absolutely awful it's like a layup line for FSU.

Any reason Diallo isn't out there outside of being bad?

Alright, watching Carter sit there and stare at an over thrown post entry pass that he could have easily had while the guy caught it and dunked it was the last straw for this guy. Let me know if Carter fouls out, I'll log back in to ESPN3

I mean whatever.

I'm done with this game. This is the least enjoyable basketball team I've ever watched. I hope they run off some of these awful players before next year. The fact JC watched some of these players and thought they were good horrifies me.

He may have good perspective on BC, given its the third college he has attended. Hopefully he can explain why he was set up for failure in Latvian, when he is playing in front of 280 people in a division II game.

This is the first optimistic thing that has ever left your keyboard and it is still dark

But I would rather watch a lineup of five Steve Perpiglias earnestly try their hardest and lose by -- well the margin isn't important -- than watch Eli Carter go 1 for 17 and kill the sperm cells of everyone he plays with

I'd totally disagree with this. I'm really sick and tired of watching players that have no business on a Division 1 basketball team. Hicks, Owens or Mezinkas are fine end of the bench guys, but they should not be playing major minutes.
