Get ready for @UNC, @Lville, @UVA, UNC. The embarrassment is coming.

The lack of a PG and PF totally fouls this team up on both ends of the floor. Without these they should just cancel the rest of these games

2 for 9 in free throws, inexcusable missed lay-ups, errant passes... I'd be embarrassed. Things have to improve; FT's for example.

On defense they're forced to double and rotate any time Carter's man goes to the basket (because he doesn't try at defense) or the ball is given to the other teams PF (because our PFs are a joke). These two things totally screw BC up defensively and screw them up on rebounds as well

This fucking team can't do anything right. A fucking push! Really? Really? Shoot 33% from the free throw line and you cover. This team is absolutely detestable. They aren't even likable in an adorably inept way, like the 76ers or Al's first team after JO'B dropped an A-bomb on the program on his way out the door.

I didn't see the first half, and Florida State spent large portions of the second half alternating between shooting themselves in the foot and reloading, but I did like how the team looked to get out in transition frequently and I believe this was the difference between losing by 10 and our more usual 20-25 margin. Now, part of our success was the fact that FSU was selling out to get offensive rebounds, but still if you're going to play as small as we do going fast at least partially mitigates the problem.

Carter firebombed any chance he had of being a camp NBA guy with his terrible play and worse court demeanor. Really thought he would help the freshmen, not completely retard their development for a year.

And running plays for missed fade away lefty hooks in the post by Clifford is not helping either. You want to get things going, try running plays to get Robinson and Turner going, not Carter and Clifford.

Really like Diallo's potential, but man is he awkward.

SBT is a good player.

Surprised by Milon's play, but of all people, he is most hurt by the lack of even mediocre PG play. He needs someone to create shots for him.

I agree with everything you say here except I'm not sold on SBT, but I admit I haven't paid much attention.

I think Milon's play and probably micro's obsession "Mezinkas" (based on pre-conference shooting) are victims of the lack of a PG.

I second all of this. Milon is a spot shooter and needs a PG to set him up. SBT needs to play more.

Any plays run for Clifford should be eliminated.

Mezinkas is a victim of being 6'5" trying to play PF in the ACC.

likewise I've tuned most of it out. had meter on the radio driving, came home at half saw it was 10 points and flipped to roonie's school but i don't think meznieks & milon are players that in an ideal world we'd be relying on for 19 & 14 minutes as FR.

14 minutes for milon as a SO with an actual point guard or 19 minutes for meznieks when he isn't outweighed by 30 pounds every night would probably be a different story.

again with limited viewing, i have a hard time ruling any of these fr out as ACC TALENT based on the complete clusterfuck that this season is

Milon could be okay. Mezinkas's problem is he isn't growing 4 inches, and even with 30 pounds is going to get absued playing PF. He doesn't have the foot speed to stay with SFs in the ACC.

We've had to play Garland Owens at Center this year. That's just really bad

maybe one of you recruiting w31r0z / people who are still watching the game can help, is turner really this bad of a 3 pt shooter?

62% of his shots are from 3 and he's hitting 27% of them. that's terrible

Milon needs more playing time. He has shown that he can hit his shots. Turner has looked a little better especially defensively but he is still way too passive.

Turner only shoots when he is settling for an outside jumper at the end of the clock. If he took more shots in the flow of the offense and inside the arc with a little more aggression, he's shoot much better. He should be able to take a lot of threes off the dribble and in the paint.

It's this, except for the fact him dribbling is an automatic turnover. His ball handling is really bad.

He's the best or second best D player we have with Hicks

Some bad news. Hicks has a concussion from when he took the shot to the head. They will find out shortly whether Robinson's wrist is broken.

That sucks for Hicks and Robinson.

However, the one bright side about this train-wreck season is that I don't have to care.

i know this is a big if, but IF we were to somehow end up running hot and winning the ACC tourney to get into the NCAAs that would be magical, considering where we are now. somebody would make a movie about it.
