Again, because they didn't know what it was at game time. Food poisoning can be lots of things.

The fact that it is related to Chipotle and the e-Coli outbreak doesn't matter tho. If the players had food poisoning, why did they play ? You say it means a lot of things, but if 10 guys were sick with food poisoning (regardless of the source) they shouldn't have played the game. None of us (except LDE) know the timeline of events, but I find it hard to believe that only Clifford and Robinson were ill at game time, and then 8 more fell ill between yesterday and today. Maybe the severity of this increased overnight, but food poisoning doesn't mean a lot of things, if 10 guys had it, they shouldn't have played.

So now we would classify the UML game as a blow out loss, yes?

If you watch the game again, you can clearly see some of these guys just wilting out there. I won't question the decision to play since I have no idea what went on.

The plan right now is to practice tomorrow which is bat shit crazy. It's equally as crazy to play Wednesday just take the forfeit L.

There's some buzz on the twitter that it's actually norovirus, not e. coli. Not being an expert in fecally transmitted disease, I pass no judgment on the validity of said buzz.

any local reports about people are AREN'T at bc that were also impacted? did any of the moonbats get tainted meat?

are they healthcare professionals asking the important questions such as "don't you always get the shits from chipotle?" or a modified "how much worse are the shits from this chipotle experience than your traditional chipotle experience?"

p&s - that is a fuckload of people to get sick from one restaurant.
