Absolutely. That was part of the goal.

Trial 1: Just as I was about to flip the switch, a Jersey Mike's delivery man driving a weenermobile crashed into the electrical pole in front of my house, knocking out the power to the universe maker.

Jersey Mike's sucks and is the most overrated eatery around. I can say that because I live in Jersey.

i'm sure some people got excited at this hanlan draft report:

http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Oli ... eport-4927

While his 4.5 assists per 40 minutes pace adjusted and his 0.34 pure point rating both rank near the bottom of point guards in our top 100, this does not completely define Hanlan's ability to find open teammates. He has improved his passing ability over the years and has the ability to find his teammates around the perimeter for open shots, even if he looks most comfortable seeking out his own shots and passing as a backup plan, which makes sense considering the quality of teammates he was surrounded with in his time at BC, which have rarely been ACC-caliber.

bilas likes hanlan

http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2015/inside ... ards-draft

Olivier Hanlan vs. Joseph Young

Bilas on Hanlan: I probably have Hanlan rated higher than most, if not all, others. I really like him as a prospect. Hanlan is a smart, high-character player who is every bit the scorer that Young is, but he is bigger and stronger. He is not a great athlete, which is the only thing that causes me concern. I still believe he will be capable as a scorer in the NBA, but he will be tested on the defensive end. He needs to improve his shooting off of the bounce, but he has a variety of ways to score.

Ford: Yes, you have Hanlan a bit higher than most. But your reasoning is sound. He has positional size, a high basketball IQ and carried a heavy load on a bad team the past couple of seasons. I just think that his lack of elite athleticism and elite shooting ability are two major red flags. What's the one elite thing Hanlan does? He does a lot of things well. But other than his size and feel, he lacks a definitive skill or athletic ability. Young, on the other hand, has both great shooting and terrific quickness.

Chad Ford has him ranked in the early second round, so it seems very likely that he'll be drafted. Many thought he'd go undrafted when he officially declared, so that is good news. Whether or not he'll actually play in the NBA next year could depend on where he is drafted and by whom. If he's a mid to late second rounder I could see the team trying to convince him to play overseas for a year to work on his PG skills.

As far as Bilas favoring Hanlan over Joseph Young, I've noticed Bilas traditionally favors ACC guys and teams, probably because he's more familiar with them.
