It's Louisville, your opening line in the gamethread is supposed to be "Louisville is going to destroy us/it's not going to be pretty/this one could get ugly etc."

The last time a huge snow storm happened we were a blatant Quinn Cook foul away from beating Duke. Duke looked half asleep, which I imagine Louisville would also if they fly in same day.

Louisville is not in Boston. They are planning on chartering to the AFB tomorrow assuming the travel ban is lifted. They may make a decision tonight or early tomorrow morning

DIdn't BC beat Pitino and his Friars during a major snow storm in 1987? Ted Kelley pushed Marty Conlon out of the wary from under the basket to gain a rebound and made the winning last second shot. BC was 9-10 at the time and Providence came to the Garden at 16-3. I can see it now. Louisville is up 67-66 with five seconds remaining, Batten's shot rims out, Odio has the chance to grab the rebound for the game winner, but instead urinates in his shorts after Montrezl Harrell frowns at him, and BC loses. I found it....

BOSTON, Feb. 3— Ted Kelley, a walk-on senior, scored on a follow-up layup with four seconds remaining tonight as Boston College upset Providence, 67-66, in a Big East Conference game.

Rick Pitino, the Providence coach, complained that Kelley pushed a Providence forward, Marty Conlon, to get the rebound of Jamie Benton's missed jumper and charged after the officials as they left the court when the buzzer sounded. No foul was called on the play.

Pitino, whose 17th-ranked team entered The Associated Press top-20 ranking this week for the first time since 1978, later blamed the loss on the referees.

Ernie Lewis of Providence hit a 3-pointer to give the Friars a 66-65 lead with 49 seconds left.

Boston College improved to 9-11 over all and 2-8 in the conference. Providence fell to 16-4 and 6-3. Troy Bowers led the Eagles with 20 points to match his career high. Dana Barros had 16 points.

Delray Brooks had 12 points to lead Providence. Lewis, finished with 11, including three 3-pointers, and Billy Donovan added 10 points.

A 3-pointer by Barros midway through the first half sparked an 11-0 run by Boston College, which led, 32-30, at halftime

that was a sunday afternoon game and this is 9 pm on a wednesday night with snow on the ground... and the louisville name doesn't mean as much as the (2) in front of uva in my opinion

and 9 pm weeknight games have never done well with the students... even back to the days of dudley, (the real) birdman, smith, king-of-the-court and :seanwilliams

Alot of wide open misses tho. They have been targeting him which has opened things up for others. Magarity looks gassed out there right now
