I'm going to question Christian here. What good does having Clifford with 2 fouls do for the second half when the game is already over? We had to watch them go on a 15-2 run with Cain Carney and Odio in there and now the second half is a formality

They actually surprised me before the run to end the half. Looked pretty decent. They aren't playing terribly on defense, but you can't beat duke if you miss open shots. It's amazing to me that 4 years of recruiting shooters left us with a team that is this helpless from beyond the three point line.

Okafor looks like the real deal to me, although showing off your skills against us is not much harder than showing off post moves on a folding chair at the NBA combine

We suck. Hanlan is seriously the only player who is capable of doing anything against good teams, but holy shit, the refs let Okafor do whatever the fuck he wants... he's already so much better. Hooks on every play.

You have to foul hard against Duke because everything is going to be a foul anyway. Might as well get your money's worth. I didn't think Clifford's was that bad. It was dumb as hell, but if you saw the replay clifford was elbowing the air and okafor saw what he was doing and ran up to him in order to get hit by the elbow.

On the replay where they only showed him swinging his elbow once, it really looked like he intentionally whacked him in the face, but I think context is important here. Okafor had just elbowed his way to a basket on the previous play. Clifford was trying to get the ref's attention. He was looking at the ref, not Okafor, and was swinging his elbow to show what Okafor had gotten away with at the other end of the court. Okafor, with Clifford's back turned to him, then walks right into Clifford's elbow. Clifford was more upset with the ref than Okafor. Also, it wasn't initially called as flagrant. That happened after the Cameron crazies went ape and demanded action which the refs decided to give them.
