a couple questions:

1. do people think that hanlan will be back? he's projected to go in the 2nd round in the 2016 NBA draft

2. could caudill actually come back next year as a 5th year and redshirt this year?

3. if hanlan comes back we have 9 players, that means we need to add 4 players do people think we just add 4 5th years? or maybe some transfers?

Let me put it this way. Hanlan's defending, passing, and rebounding are below average for an NBA prospect. He needs to be an exceptional scorer/shooter to make it. Unfortunately, every brick he's thrown up this year is essentially him paving his own path to a roster spot in Turkey.

He is not and never has been a point guard. He's a slashing 2 with a streaky jumper in a PG body. Perfect for Europe.

Hanlan *was* a guy that could score at will, but was very passive for the majority of games, content to just watch Joe Rahon dribble around. it looks to me like he has regressed considerably.

why would we want caudill to come back for another year? i'd rather the team bank the $100k or whatever cost it is per player per year and use that for recruiting

This. We have decent enough big men for next year assuming Diallo develops and they bring in a fifth year. I see Magerity taking another big step and Clifford is more than serviceable.

Let Caudill go and use the $ to recruit or bring in a fifth year

So you're saying that Magarity took a big step this year?

Ummmmm, yeah. Your boy's signature game is 6 points and 6 rebounds v. Providence. Magarity has more fouls than rebounds. Look it up. Same kid as last year. And the conference schedule hasn't even begun.

6 points and 6 board is more than he did last year so yeah I would say that's an improvement.

Magarity is a much improved player this year, it's pretty obvious. That said, he's still not an impact player so looking at the box scores won't tell us much other than that bunratty didn't watch the games in the first place and needs to go to the box score.

Have seen all but 2 games. Magarity is a little better, but not much. He runs around and doesn't produce, not even in soft OOC games, much like last year. So where has he taken this big step forward? Maybe in the classroom?

At least when I have an agenda against a player, he is actually bad at basketball.

No agenda ee, Magarity is OK and I have nothing against the kid whatsoever. You had said that he had taken a "big step" this year. He certainly looks stronger, however, production-wise well, he just hasn't produced much. Maybe a little better than last year, but not much. Hope he continues to improve.

He played well yesterday. Not everyone can miss 100 shots like the nba point guard as v there is only one ball.

I'm just going to point out that there are "certain" posters here with a love for posting faux-homosexual stuff...but when the rubber really hits the road they are nowhere to be found!
