Read this on the PC message board, apparently having family health issues at home and is asking out of his Oklahoma State LOI, wants to find somewhere closer to home to play
"In addition, Cowboys signee Jared Terrell – a four-star guard from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, is rumored to be asking out of his letter-of-intent, due to personal issues arising at home."
Obviously Donahue was not legitimately in on him, but URI was a serious contender for him and with Murphy at BC and him wanting to stay local, it could end up being a good match.

Plays at Brewster, was under impression he was from Mass (possibly Roxbury) but not 100% positive about that (he did his Okie State announcement in Roxbury so assume he is from there)

Weymouth.
Kid is beyond legit by the way. He is one of the most physically developed, athletic players in the northeast (if not #1)

Kid is beyond legit by the way. He is one of the most physically developed, athletic players in the northeast (if not #1)
He also struggles with his outside shot and has a tendency to sulk a bit when he's struggling. Otherwise, landing Terrell would be nothing short of amazing.

And enough of a defensive/rebounding presence that he's rated a high-major talent despite being a project on offense.
Rakim Sanders, like Terrell, decided to stay close to home because of family issues, so their recruiting processes have clear points of resemblance. One very large (and highly desirable) difference between them is that Terrell is clearly focused on keeping himself in top physical condition.

I wonder if Jared is waiting to see what comes of the Diallo visit tomorrow before he commits? I would. If that produces a positive result, the BC situation looks a whole lot different. Future NBA player to pair with, big man with huge upside and a top 100 player, Jeremy Miller coming the next year with other openings available.......without him we're a guard heavy team with major issues and KC Caudill coming off the bench......I still think he'd be nuts not to sign up to starting guard in the ACC against Duke, UNC, Syracuse, and Louisville....but I could at least understand why a strong recruiting class in Kingston might feel less risky.

I couldn't if you have hopes of becoming an NBA player you don't go to URI. There hasn't been an NBA player drafted from URI in this century and only 2 ever relevant players from URI in the NBA.
Not going to knock the player for not coming to this hot mess. But if you were forced to stay local at least go to Providence. URI is irrelevant and always will be irrelevant.

WOTS is that AAU coach Ty Boswell is being courted for a college coaching deal. I guess that means the kid will probably follow him. Too bad he would fit in well here.
