Now, however, EO shows that appears to be passe.

Though strolls around campus may not show signs that BC now provides a truncated education to some, a visit to EO yields all the evidence one needs of that unpalatable reality.
Alma mater once taught its students to respectfully engage with and substantively debate those espousing ideas of all stripes.
Now, however, EO shows that appears to be passe.
Rather, EO seemingly welcomes all contact that "fits with its views" but treats others differently: i.e., either with vulgarity or with censorship by isolation.
Sad that the ability to joust with substance has evaded those poor souls.
Guess a trip over to Admissions is necessary to see about upping our obviously insufficient standards.
And by the bye: if Tobac is the "manager" of EO and is looking to up his pay and status, he may want to Amtrak down to NYC. Seems that Brian Williams and the folks at NBC would be a good fit for those with experience in shelving positions with which they disagree.
Not to worry, though: in a few short hours the nation will see the hoops steamroller which has been forged at Conte.

Do you think you're not getting respectful, engaging, substantive debate because of what you say? Or do you think it might not be what you say, but the manner in which you say it?

MaroonNGold {l Wrote}:Since the brilliant dismantling of our program in 2010 by the twin six shooters, BC has a recruiting advantage that our peer schools lack.
We - and only we - can assure every recruit that he won't be inconvenienced by the hurtful distractions of post-season play.
Nope - once the final whistle sounds, the lad can head straight for Bapst.
MaroonNGold {l Wrote}:Well, maybe someone can reconcile the common claim that our high admission standards deny us excellent athletes with the recent REALITY under the current coaching regime :
Year 1:
We get one player who began at Temple, moved to Mississippi State, and then came here.
Year 2:
We get a player who began at Rutgers, moved to Florida and now comes here.
Huh?
