This just in:

Las Vegas oddsmakers have stopped taking bets on whether tomorrow night's attendance will reach double figures.

They are now certain that at least 10 fools will show up.

You're definitely the type of guy that goes around the office on Monday mornings telling people that they look like they have the case of the Mondays.

Your point being????
BC once attracted stars like Abrams, Adams, Agbai, Austin, Bagley, Barros, Bell, Curley, Driscoll, Dudley, Eisley, Evans, Huckaby, Jackson, McCready, Murphy, O'Brien, Rice, Smith, Williams, et al.

Those days are gone.

And who is responsible for that?

Well-deserved honors - if true

Postby MaroonNGold on Tue Nov 26, 2013 11:58 am

Can anyone confirm the rumor that the other ACC schools have unanimously voted GDF and WL as Co-Men of the Decade, in recognition of their having put BC on the ACC schedule each year?

I, for one, welcome this new, fresh angle on BC sports (even if it turns out to be an AliAss). Too often people smack down new voices that have the temerity to post here. Know wonder Salzano thinks this place is a wasteland populated by 4 users (as opposed to the Mecca of BC sports that is BCI).

you mean the same angle that 81 took (with mocking the administration for their lack of support of the athletic programs)? I don't remember you being so kind to him

When was I not nice to a fellow Gasson Society Flynn Fund donor? Losing guys like IB, 81 and 74 means you lose people who keep things moving around here. And, as a result, you start to lose actually good posters lik BUC and JaneOfLaws.

Happy Thanksgiving

Postby MaroonNGold on Thu Nov 28, 2013 9:24 am

To each of my fellow (and sister?) posters.

Why we all retain interest in what has become a turkey of a program (thanks to the ego and arrogance of "leadership") escapes me.

But we do.

Eat sensibly.

And let's say a prayer for one another.

The Purdue Game

Postby MaroonNGold on Sun Dec 01, 2013 5:49 pm

Reports abound that the Purdue team was just polled on which team they fear less as an an opponent this week:

(1) BC,

or

(2) the surviving members of the 1954 Milan High School State Champs squad.

They chose BC - unanimously.
