I really don't care what Christian says. I largely view him as someone so forgettable that he will be nothing but an answer to a trivia question a few years from now. What I'd like to know about is comments from Bates. Did he talk about his "process"? Did he mention anything about other candidates? Was he asked about the reception he received from fans and alumni as a result of the announcement of Christian?

Bates sounds like he's trying to talk himself into this hire...even brought up Christian's "championship track record". I really don't know who this guy thinks he's kidding with this nonsense...

not to be optimistic, but... looking at Al Skinner's records, his record wasn't great. he had some great assistants at BC, and he succeeded. maybe we'll see the same with Christian. I want so bad for his emphasis on recruiting, defense and toughness to not just be lip service.
I like BC basketball.

I think it is safe to assume that Hanlan is staying in the draft. The only question is whether Rahon is transferring or not. If Tariq Owens gets released (and if Christian is able to re-recruit him), the kid would start immediately.

I know what you're getting at, but I liked Al's brand of ball, particularly at it's height. I like watching tough defensive-minded teams, but I know I'm in the minority.

Perhaps people on this board dont realize that Yukon just won a national championship with great recruits who play tough D and boring low scoring offense.

If BC charges for hoops tickets for the next 5 years, there should be an indictment for grand larceny.
