I saw that Nick Faust, Roddy Peters and Shaq Cleare all want to transfer out. Would any of them want to follow Spinelli? And would any of them be a good get if they did?

Some random guy tweeted that Spinelli is NOT coming...but nothing leads me to believe he's credible.

When it comes to bad news about BC, I think this board has found that Twitter tends to be more accurate than we'd all like.

One right amongst dozens of wrongs only equals accuracy in MoLand where Twitter is a wet dream (as the song goes).

this is just the type of tweet, from some knucklehead that will end up being true, and will officially cause me to lose it. In my pathetic adoration for BC basketball, the only thing keeping me afloat righ now is signing this guy and hoping he is the recruiter everybody says he is. If they lose him, it will be a major blow.

Would it make more sense for JC to announce each staffer individually when they're hired? Or to announce everybody at once after the entire staff is assembled?

I can't believe anyone here isn't willing to give this poor guy a chance. So many of you were over the moon when Donahue was announced and I see Christian as having more upside than Donahue did.

Besides, either one is infinitely better than Al Skinner.

Bc, if my memory is correct, always seems to issue one press release with the name of the entire staff, rather than announcing individually. Therefore it may be a week or so before we find out who has officially been hired. I wish it would be different in this case. Anybody have alink to a Maryland basketball board where this may be conformed or denied?

The comments on Testudo Times (Maryland's BCI) seem to indicate that ...

1) Spinelli had an altercation with Chuck Mitchell in the past and Turgeon refused to discipline him, resulting in a clashing of heads. Spinelli feels like the rug has been pulled out from underneath him in terms of authority.

2) Faust to BC is rumored. Cleare and Peters seem to be unknown, although they think Cleare will try to move to a big program and Peters will move to a program where he can start day 1.

Faust is basically Nick Young. Crazy talented, but doesn't pass and takes absurd shots

When you say "either one", do you mean Donahue and the new guy? You have to be kidding? You can't still be pretending that Donahue was a better coach than Skinner!
