What Christian needs to do to have a chance this year

I have calmed down & thinking how he can get people to give him a chance,

1. Dont lose anyone to transfer, the NBA or Europe.
2. The Ohio decommit should commit to BC if he is really a 3 or 4 star.
3. I want real recruiting, on the level of what Daz has done in football.
4. I think he actually should make the NCAAs based on expectations this year

EDIT: 5. I forgot one. BEAT HARVARD.

Not checking all 4 boxes is a disappointment and I probably wont attend another game until after we do make the tourney.

I look at it like this: we were allegedly supposed to make the tourney this year, if they stay together and Christian can coach rebounds and defense, why not. Making the dance isnt impossible, just be in the top 64 Nationwide, its not crazy and SOS will be there. I agree recruiting is job 1, but he needs to get some assistants and get on his ass quick. A good season will go really far in recruiting. The leash isnt too long with the fans.

I don't think it's out of the question that without defections, some contribution from Clifford and Hicks, some better substitution patterns and less whistling they could be that next year....

Coach JC revealed that he told his players he was talking to BC> Its safe to assume the 4 star heard too and decided to transfer. He is looking at Gtown, and Miami. there is no indication he wants to follow Christian. I hope I'm wrong.

What assistant would make you like this coach? Cooley, jones et al? Seriously though, who can he hire when we were supposedly able to offer 2 mill a year to a head coach but ended up with our MAC HOFer. Also, people allegedly "don't think BC is a desirable job, and our Master apparently royally screwed this search process up." Add in the fact that we pay our new MAC coach (with nominal northeast ties) 950k a year and I am skeptical that we will have prominent assistants chomping at the bit.

I don't have anybody particular in mind. I'm just willing to wait to see who he brings on as assistants to officially label this hire a complete and total failure before the guy even coaches a game.

You are crazy. Decent coach and that's an NIT team. Decent coach with one more athlete over 6'6'' and its a legit bubble team. Recruiting needs to be better, but there was enough talent there to win as upperclassmen. It just didn't get coached for 3 years.

They have 2, maybe 3 good players and those are all transferring
