Can one of the h00ps weird0s tell me what the real story with this kid is? Did we really just let him slip through the cracks?

Yes.

I actually read the article. He was offered a schollie but it didn't come early enough for his liking. Whatever.

It should also be noted that the timing was compromised in part due to his decision to reclassify from 2011 to 2010. That said... there really isn't an excuse for BC not extending an offer earlier when so many top programs did. It was the job of the assistants to make sure the kid felt wanted... they clearly failed here.

It should also be noted that he felt like an after thought largely because Al had been fired at the time of his reclassification and they were desperate looking to fill a bunch of schollies of kids that left. He evidently didn't like that.

Should Al have offered him earlier, even though he was classified as 2011? Probably. But whatever, this guy isn't that good any way. Good enough to start on BC, but he's not Isaiah Thomas.

He's not Isaiah. Who is? But the kid is good, one of the best guards in the country.

Eh. He won't be the best guard on the court tonight, and they are playing a bad team.

Thank you.

I don't know what's more impressive... Logi picking UConn to win the tournament 4 1/2 months before they did or tedwardo's evaluation of Napier being nothing special.

Napier is a good player. He's certainly no Kemba Walker, and he can thank Daniels for his championship.

Was Al's fault, as documented above. The should have offered him before he reclassified and its Beeker's fault that Al didn't offer him.

By the way, HJS and the search function are one of my favorite parts of this site.
