It should also be noted that the timing was compromised in part due to his decision to reclassify from 2011 to 2010. That said... there really isn't an excuse for BC not extending an offer earlier when so many top programs did. It was the job of the assistants to make sure the kid felt wanted... they clearly failed here.
It should also be noted that he felt like an after thought largely because Al had been fired at the time of his reclassification and they were desperate looking to fill a bunch of schollies of kids that left. He evidently didn't like that.
Should Al have offered him earlier, even though he was classified as 2011? Probably. But whatever, this guy isn't that good any way. Good enough to start on BC, but he's not Isaiah Thomas.
