and he has offers from unc & ku :shock:

Chris Cheeks is paying off I guess. I'd still be shocked if they landed Hamilton, they're fishing with the sharks on him.

JC would buy himself another year with Tabbs and Hamilton coming in.

I think this is somewhat misleading. If you look at the schools that are actively recruiting him, BC isn’t that far out of a perceived “universe”. The schools that have actively been recruiting, and appear to be finalists include BC, Maryland, Mississippi St. and NCSU, none of which are major outliers. While he may have reported offers from UA, KU and UNC, I would guess most had much higher priorities that would make Hamilton a plan B type. You are right however, that a class of Hamilton/Tabbs and the potential of some postseason invite would bring JC back another year.

Eh I think you're still downplaying this one a bit, this isn't a Daryl Hicks situation. Those are real offers assuming he'd be willing to make the visit, etc. He's the #55 player on ESPN, it would be the highest recruit we've ever landed by a long shot.

Just saw this on twitter ...

Jacob Polacheck
@JacobPolacheck
2018 forward Jairus Hamilton will announce his college decision on Jan. 11th, per @TiptonEdits.
Prediction: Boston College

https://twitter.com/JacobPolacheck/status/949370046253428736

Not sure as to the validity of this person or his access, but interesting nonetheless. We should know 1/11/18 at 7 PM. Per 247, JC visited on 12/21, would be nice addition to Tabbs.

Yes, getting a 4* and 55th ranked prospect in the nation would be a nice addition.

Hamilton is apparently down to Boston College, Maryland and Mississippi State.
