There's roughly 50 minutes a game by my estimate up for grabs at the wings (barring grad transfer), looks like we're going to throw Sagay, Kraljevic, Baker, Mitchell, and Meznieks into the pot and see which 2 or 3 prove to be the best. Lots of interesting guys with upside there (and good height).
One of these things isn't like the other.

It feels like we always have a guy on the roster who is this size (6'8"ish) and seemingly can't dunk.

Sacred Heart transfer Quincy McKnight tells me he's considering BC, St. Bonaventure, and Santa Clara. Also visits Penn State on 5/15.

I remember him from when we played them. He's good and had 36 against the all-world defense of Bowman and Robinson

Offer out to 2018 Wynston Tabbs. This is like the first offer i heard about all month. What the fuck is this staff doing during the most important time to be out recruiting during AAU season.

I'll actually contest both of the implicit premises that
1- lack of offers publicized on twitter represents a lack of offers extended
2- number of offers extended (public or not) is a meaningful quantification of effort spent recruiting

idk if this had been mentioned here, but BC offered Chris Herrens kid a few weeks back. Played in the Curry select 30 camp this past week (I think only through a connection with his father and a former teammate at Fresno St who works at UA) and apparently performed well, no other offers yet but he's only a rising Jr at Tabor.

Very solid pickup here. A roster full of guys like this would be competitive in the ACC. Interestingly at least to me, aside from Graves I believe this is the earliest we've gotten a commitment from a player under this staff. I'm pleasantly surprised the staff was able to get this done given Christian's tenuous hold on his job at the moment. I wonder if part of the sales pitch was that Bowman or Robinson isn't likely to be around after this season...

I find it odd a Top 150 kid wants anything to do with BC nowadays, but great pull by the staff
