Someone had mentioned that Nik Popovic was rumored to be visiting soon. He has recently picked up offers from Georgia and Providence, with Bruce Pearl and Auburn also recruiting him (tho it appears no offer has been extended). Popovic is a 6'10 Serbian and plays at some prep school in Florida.

Sagay is going to be a steal. With him playing in the best prep school conference now he was bound to blow up during the season. Just need to find a PF/C in this class and Jimmy has built something nice in his first two classes + Diallo.

That highlight tape is a ridiculous production. The competition as noted before looks like if Claver, TWB, 9903, TRE and myself formed a pickup team.

He looks athletic enough and everything, I just can't tell much from that video. The number of short, slow white kids he blows by is blinding.

I agree, it's tough to tell because of the competition, but this kid can play.

I like how electricity shoots out of his hands a lot. They'll probably call that against Duke, but otherwise it could be pretty useful.

This Georgia fan blog does not seem impressed by Popovic. I do not have the interest in watching 2 hrs of Serbian U18 basketball to form my own opinion (unless he commits!), but there's next to nothing else on the internet about the kid.

I don't know what to think about this guy. Georgia offered, Providence may have, Auburn didn't but Pearl was interested enough to bring his whole staff to see him (not sure if that is positive or negative).

I wonder with the European players, if the staff has a little more optionality in how they handle them, i.e. Get them in the program for a few years, and if it doesn't work out or you want to use scholarships elsewhere (and with a mega class this could be the case) send them back to play professionally in Europe, no harm no foul.
