I'm confused. is this for 2015 recruits, or is this a continuation of the old recruiting thread? and are we skipping the 2014 class? more importantly, is Steve Donahue? is what's good for the goose really good for the gander? are most dogs brown?

Set epstein up and then yanked the rug right out from under him. Nice.

i've edited the title because i know how much you like bc basketball.

not being a h00ps weird0, i assumed that the 2014 class is completed at this point and the 2015 class would be the kids that we want to start in school next summer to compete in the season that takes place during 2015 (the season that you will all ASSURE us will result in an ncaa bid after this upcoming year finds a few balls that bounce the wrong way, etc.)

i guess a dfferent way to say it is - you shirtless boys admirers talk about whatever fantasy scenarios you want. if you want me to ask shocker to get some dungeons and dragons dice for you in here as well, i suppose i can do that

I mean, I would think that what's good for the goose isn't always good for the gander. what happens if one goose eats the rest of them? real nice for that goose, but the gander is done for, you know? on the other hand, that goose's cholesterol is going to hell in a handbasket.

For myself, I'm quite willing to juggle two different recruiting threads, although there was no need to be so crude about the title -- you might at least consider the possibility that we acquire our sexual satisfaction elsewhere. Maybe we could use this thread to speculate on who's going to leave and open up that second slot for 2014 which everyone assumes is going to be available.

Thank you TRE. You've done your good deed for the year.

i'd intended to post better shirtless pictures but the yesterday's slap from nospace still stings so you're just going to have to settle for pg rated stuff. i hope that you and your fellow h00ps weird0s can move on from there and create your list of names that might as well be made up.

if you're taking suggestions, i'd like to offer the following recruits...

a strong 4 in the vein of danya abrams - hugh jass
that kid with the ability to sneak past defenses and drop bombs - al kida
defensive specialist that can stick to any ball handler like glue - val crow
the guard that's sure to get the offense tuned up and running smooth - val voleen
and lastly, i'm not sure about the prospect that we're hoping can replace clifford in case of additional injuries - colin sick

BCEaglesFan just reported that
Evan Flood of Badgers247 predicted a day ago that Matt Cimino would pick BC...here's the link to Cimino's 247 page, go down the page to "crystal ball" to see the BC prediction: http://247sports.com/Player/Matt-Cimino-23430

Evan Flood just interviewed him recently.

He has offers from BC, Kansas State, and Virginia. 6'10 Center from Maine that has exactly what BC needs.

Cimino said of Boston College: “Definitely a program that’s on the rise. Great coach in Coach (Steve) Donahue. Great group of young players. Definitely a school that’s been there recruiting me for a while.”

I think Cimino will be very good. Although true, he's going to stand around the 3 point line and heave 3s

Verbalcommits reports 2014 6'10 C David Wacker (TX) has received an offer from Boston College.

Other offers from SMU, Colorado, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Boise State, Fresno State, Western Kentucky, Indiana State and more mid majors

He is already going on visits so BC may be a little late on this one

This doesn't bother me if he rebounds on the other end of the court.

Hoff is now saying that a lot of schools (including BC) have cooled on Cimino the last few months and that he isn't a top target for BC. The probable reason Hoff believes the writer picked him to BC is that Flood might have thought BC was the best school still recruiting him.

Any idea why schools have cooled? I was surprised he hasn't picked up any new offers recently (probably connected to why schools have cooled on him)

I think because he has limited upside and hasn't improved much since last year.

It's odd though because he received great reviews this spring from multiple highly regarded recruiting sites. He can really shoot and run the floor. Even read that he outplayed other top recruits like Goodluck Okonoboh
