@AdamFinkelstein :New BC head coach @BCJimChristian has visited Brewster Academy, New Hampton, NMH, Cushing, Rivers, & Tilton in the last 36 hours

Hopefully he offers PG Devonte Graham from Brewster who is one of the top uncommitted players after getting his release from Appalachian St. Billy Donovan, Bill Self, Tony Bennett flew in to talk to him already this week.

Its been a recruiting dead period since the beginning of the week so now that we have a full staff, we should start seeing an increase in recruiting this weekend. Any position besides SF is needed hopefully they bring in some bodies soon.

I would be ecstatic with any one of the Maryland transfers, but Peters would be my preference.

For transfers that can play right away, we need bigs and there are a few available.
Jon Horford, Michigan : solid player. Rebounds and plays defense
Moses Ayegba, Georgetown : very long big that never came into his own
Eric McKnight, FGCU : thin but athletic. I'm sure some of you remember a few of his dunks in the tourney.

Another tidbit: Jordan Hare of URI (and Josh Southern's hometown) declared his intent to transfer during the season but hasn't committed anywhere. 6-9 and can rebound. Was a big recruit out of high school. I'm assuming Murphy played a role in his recruitment.

BC should be looking very, very closely at anyone in that list with "will graduate" after their name. Most of those kids are looking for a place where they can see immediate minutes. The best of them, however, like Anderson and likely the kid from Temple, are going to be looking for a spot where they can win (finally). So Christian should be focusing on successful mid-major guys who are looking to step up in competition and guys who were, for peculiar reasons squeezed out of PT (injury, system, PTPer in the same position). One name I saw (and remember us being involved with out of HS) is Brice Kofane? He's graduating PC where he barely played.

This. We need a few 5th years. At this point, any 2014 recruits available aren't going to be useful (see Moton, Gabe)
