Boston College 8 {l Wrote}:do you think he stays or goes? odds?
i say right now its about 60/40 NBA but it could def change
StratEagle {l Wrote}:Isn't hanlan staying for his senior year essentially the same thing as going undrafted? It's not because he's dying to win 3 conference games next year

Just spoke w/2015 PF Shawntrez Davis (GA) he is going on an official visit to Boston College 4/21-22. Article on our convo soon @BCEagles247
-----------------
I didn't think there was anything there on this one, but it appears he's giving us a serious look...reel him in!!!
Atlanta, Georgia native Shawntrez Davis will be on an official visit to Boston College on April 21st and 22nd. The 6-8, 200-pound Power Forward prospect is currently attending Lagrange (Ga.) Sound Doctrine Academy. He is ranked No. 123 in the 247Sports Composite.
If the Eagles are able to land Davis they could potentially find a big piece to the puzzle for the 2015-2016 season. The Eagles lacked a real scoring presence from their two frontcourt positions this past season. Davis is an athletic and skilled big that would come in and play right away for Head Coach Jim Christian. “It’s the ACC, one of the toughest conference’s in college basketball,” Davis said. “I will have the opportunity to make a name for myself playing in that league.”
The 4-star prospect was offered by Boston College back in early February. Eagles’ Assistant Coach Preston Murphy has been Davis’ primary recruiter. “Preston is a really cool guy,” he said on his recruiting coach. He also mentioned that he has spoken with Coach Christian and Davis is excited about getting to Boston to meet all of the coaches and see the campus. Nationally televised games are another big draw for Davis. The fact that “most ACC games are on TV is a big deal,” and Boston College will also play several games close to his hometown of Atlanta. “My mom can watch me play in person, and that’s huge for me,” Davis said.
A host of regional schools are recruiting Davis, with offers from Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, Florida State, West Virginia and Georgia Tech among others. Davis is a 2015 prospect and would slide into the Eagles lineup and add instant depth to the Eagles frontcourt. He would be playing next to 7-footers Dennis Clifford and very athletic Idrissa Diallo. Boston College already has the state of Florida’s 7A Player of the Year in Matt Milon arriving next year to go along with top 150 recruit A.J. Turner and a big athletic guard prospect in Jerome Robinson. The addition of Davis in this 2015 class that Coach Christian has already put together would significantly upgrade their roster and compete in the ACC.
StratEagle {l Wrote}:As expected, Tariq Owens will be going elsewhere

BCEagles25 {l Wrote}:after missing out on players like Sharma, Mann, Mitchell, Terrell, and Falzon, I wasn't optimistic about the class. but I will be very happy if it's rounded out with Shawntrez Davis, as we haven't seen an athletic 4 in quite a while (Odio counts to me as more of a wing trying to be a 4.)

StratEagle {l Wrote}:The clouds could be finally starting to clear from this 7 year shitstorm. With Davis and possibly Shonn Miller in the fold, plus Hanlan staying for his senior year, this team might actually not suck for the first time in what feels like forever.
Knowing the constant punch in the balls that is BC fanhood, none of these things will happen, however, but the circlejerk is fun in the meantime.

Miller is a long shot at best. Visiting UConn April 17-18
twballgame9 {l Wrote}:Odio never looked athletic because he couldn't hang on to the ball and when he had it he looked like he was afraid. Beerbohm was similar size and leaping ability, but he actually lifted a weight or two and played aggressive, so he used to hammer dunks on people and it was awesome.
I actually forgot how good he actually was.
