We look like a Division 1 basketball team for the first time in 5 years. Some of those kids look like they've actually found the weight room at BC

longdistanceeagle {l Wrote}:JC has brought in a new GA, Amric Fields. He played for JC at TCU. Was the 6th man of the year in a loaded Mountain West, but then hurt his ACL. He has brought him in to specifically work with Clifford, Diallo and any other bigs they get. Amric's 6'9", a great kid. He's spending the summer getting them to play in the various places around the city and generally be a mentor to the younger guys.

I have no reason to doubt you other than the fact that no one else has this, not even Amric's own twitter.

To bridge the eight-year span between our recruiting 8th graders and their matriculation here, the staff has just launched ANOTHER unprecedented stroke of brilliance.
Letters are going to the coaches of all the JUCOs in New England asking for the names of those cut from their squads, so that they can be immediately offered full rides at alma mater.
The thinking is that if (as expected) this initiative bears fruit, it will be expanded to a national effort.
