They won't be unfilled for all of the next four years that that guy is wasting a scholarship. You don't rebuild by just taking guys as freshmen. If he were a transfer or a senior, fine. No shitty freshmen.
That's a fair point, but you also don't rebuild by going 2-16 season after season while you wait like Linus in the pumpkin patch for all these 4 star recruits we keep coming in 3rd for to decide they want to play for a laughingstock. We're losing 3 largely useless big men after this year, we can afford to take 1 on, and hope he turns out to actually be a good player.
