This is one of the first names I remember seeing early this summer when the new staff hit the recruiting trail, so someone on the staff must really believe in the kid and prioritize him highly. Glad we got him, clearly a position of need. Hurray!

The recruiting is much better, even though they have not closed some guys they probably should, they have had options in place to get it done. And based on the fact that this team is largely taking care of business against bad opponents despite struggling on O and is playing defense for the first time in 4 years, I am going to say the actual coaching has been upgraded as well.
