His film looks exactly like Jordan Daniels. Have fun at 5'10" in the ACC. Skills are there, but finishing at the rim at his height is going to be an adventure

I'm just going to point out that eppy went full retard on this post. Don landing Moton and Rubin is part of the reason he was fired. The idiot ran off Heslip and decided Bryce Cotton wasn't as good as (Daniels or Rubin). I don't know of this kid is any good (and neither do you), but it is likely that the state's POY is more like Cotton than either Moton or Rubin. Furthermore, if he is the next Jordan Daniels (a player, BTW, I wouldn't mind still having on the team), who the fuck cares? He'd wind up transferring before his Junior season.

Went full retard???? This is standard shit from him. He is clueless.

Still batting 1.000 over the last few years on talent evaluations

No. Jordan Daniels, for one, would be a welcome addition

I think he's a good player, and at the right level of competition he'd be fine. The ACC is not the right level of competition.

If the players remaining aren't good, then take no one in 2014. That's a better strategy than throwing offers out to mid-major players. We already have plenty of mid-major players on this roster.

Citing the one or two players who are 5'10 and stars in the ACC does not validate the argument.

I'm not going to get bent out of shape over this kid, but we'd better not make a habit of competing with Akron and SJSU for players

Phew, good thing you weren't in charge 10 years ago.

https://rivals.yahoo.com/bostoncollege/ ... dley-21572

Look at those offers and stars. Mid-major talent right there.

I feel like I'm arguing with a second grader....pointing two an example of something that rarely occurs does not make your point any more valid

Wait, now you are arguing that an under recruited 2 star becoming a good player rarely happens? Okay, sure. Yep.

The new ACC opponents come out tomorrow. If we could steer clear of Duke, UNC or Louisville x2 that would be fantastic

5-tool player, Eric Davis. One of the best defensive CFs in baseball history not named Gary Pettis or Devon White.

It wasn't so much that the talented big man had a soft spot for USC or UCLA, as he was outspoken about remaining in a climate similar to his native Senegal.

A visit from California, though, changed everything.

"Coach Gregg Gottlieb came to my school and told me all about Berkeley. He told me about the university and the academics, and about the Muslim community," Diallo told GoldenBearReport. "That was really important to me."

If there are two things BC doesn't have, he found them there. Weather like Senegal and Muslims

And yet... Diallo has decided to set up a visit to see the Senegal-like weather and visit one of the many Mosques located in Chestnut Hill.

Wow that is huge news he's setting up an OV soon. Preston Murphy is pretty impressive just getting him to visit.

Big time shot blocker and rebounder. Could you imagine if we could pull him and Owens in 2014?

Is the plan for Diallo to redshirt next year? I doubt there is going to be much playing time available next year with a healthy Clifford coming back.

NJM89 {l Wrote}:Top 3 for 2014 PG Noah Robotham (BC, Akron, SJSU)

Going back to this, Bishop Gorman has two top 20 guys and another top 150 guys in the 2015 class.

Obviously, BC has almost a 0 shot at getting any top 20 guys, but building relationships is always a good strategy even if it means taking an under recruited player who may not be some kind of star in the making in order to help your chances of landing a potential star in the making.

Plus, hell if this kid is good enough to be the POY on a team with kids so highly regarded as the three top 150 guys then I'm down.

If he plays on a team with that many highly recruited guys, its means every major coach in the country has probably seen him play. None of those deem him worthy of a scholarship.

Good luck establishing that relationship with Bishop Gotman.

Again, do I think he'll be terrible? No, he clearly has some talent. For 15 min a game as the backup PG but all means knock yourself out

Hey 06,

Why do you spew such heresy?

Have you not kept current with the state of BC hoops?
BC once attracted stars like Abrams, Adams, Agbai, Austin, Bagley, Barros, Bell, Curley, Driscoll, Dudley, Eisley, Evans, Huckaby, Jackson, McCready, Murphy, O'Brien, Rice, Smith, Williams, et al.

Those days are gone.

And who is responsible for that?

Given that BC's last player to sniff the NBA was recruited 8 years ago, this joke falls a little flat for me. He liked Hanlan, and that's the only really good prospect BC has gotten since Matt Ryan was QB of the football team.
