At Wake Forest

For the first time in a while, I'm excited and positive in thinking that BC can win back to back ACC games (normally, at least for the past few years, all I could expect to look forward to with a Wake game was TRE posting Riley Skinner cock shots). I'm expecting BC to continue its improvement on the offensive side, i.e., increased efficiency and better shooting. I think there will be some problems guarding McKie and Harris. But, I'd like to think BC can win a close, semi-ugly game.

Prediction 76-71 BC.

Agreed looking forward to this one, nice opportunity for a young team. 3.5 underdogs (for those who partake in such activity) definitely a winnable game.

Must win game if these kids want confidence in league play. A loss here would be extremely demoralizing

The problem with BC this year has been consistency. We got hammered by Wake twice last year. I think it'll be closer with our improvement.

The next 4 games aren't difficult except that 3 are on the road. Wake is the worst of the 4

I forgot how noncompetitive the Wake games were last year.

Wake destroyed us off the boards and with frontcourt scoring (garbage players like Derosier and Ty Walker had f'ng career days) and CJ harris abused our bantamweight back court. I think both of those issues will be mitigated by roster changes and development. I like Hanlan, Rahon and improved Jackson a lot better than Jackson, Daniels, Humphrey and Moton defensively against Harris. Moreover, Walker and Desrosiers(again the one game he made a difference last year) are gone and we saw against NC State that Anderson is a lot more capable of controlling the boards w/ some help from the guards than he was last year. McKie may still have a huge game, I wonder if Heckmann will get that asisgnment for a long stretch?

Lock the doors and send the kids to the neighbors because I think I'll be one of the couple dozen in attendance for this one...

Wait really tre (rhymes with ghey)? I'll keep my eyes open for a monacled homohumper

these announcers have clearly been given the youth talking point, epsteins ears must be bleeding

well that's a nice start

the first three minutes is the Don's offensive vision being realized. Hanlan is so smart.

of course we complement a 10-0 run with a 0-9 run.

since a few early 3's, WF stepped up the intensity and BC is struggling with that. Lo-Jack and Hanlan keeping BC in it....
Even Odio is surprised when he makes a hoop...nice feed by Rahon.

we are... I'm tempted to say... "far" better than Wake Forest. they have thus far relied on contested jump shots and steals. that luck can't last forever.

What is Rahon shooting? 0-5? and 0-1 from the line? Come on bud.

Really enjoyable first half. BC had some great runs, and Harris for WF has been on absolute fire.

Rahon was way off, easily the worst I've seen him play. Luckily Lonnie Jackson made up for it with a great half.

Wish they were up, but either way you can see the improvement on the offensive end. Rebounding too. Turnovers and consistent defense are the problem areas..

I just don't know if Wake can hang with us. We have a reasonably well-crafted offensive drive-and kick system with pretty sharp passing, and whenever Wake goes out there, I get the same vibe now as I did with them in 2010-2011... they're just dribble and passing around hoping for something to happen. Lucky for them, CJ Harris is happening, but nobody's creating his looks. That's why I'm not that worried. Thomas and McKie can really play, though. I think our combo of Anderson and Clifford is better, but Clifford is hobbled. Nonetheless...

I've been wrong before, but, I say we win by 5-10.

I'm certainly concerned. When a team is shooting like Wake, it's always a close game.

Rahon's official first half. 0-4, 0-1 free throw. 4 turnovers. He had a wide open 3 he missed.

37% without CJ Harris, 52% with him. He's shooting 8-10 from the field and 3-4 from behind the arc. And while there were a few open shots, particularly the threes, a lot of those shots were really just ridiculous fadeaways on well contested shots.

If he keeps it up for the rest of the game, it's not going to be good.
