Hard to tell by gamecast but are our first subs Odio and Rubin? Assuming Van Nest gets some spin too, I wonder if Heckman will even get any time tonight.

i think because we look so awkward when we fall down, it is advantageous to be white when a charge call is in question.

Disagree. They didn't excel there yesterday and they almost beat Baylor. They need to shoot about 33-35%

That said, this doesn't remotely look like yesterday and it has nothing to do with shooting. They're flat.

Hopefully the 3 pt shooting is just small sample size and not an indication of what's to come.

I don't think Dayton sucks, but BC should beat them. Dayton will have a nice RPI by the end of the year.

Fine, BC seems to be more skilled than Dayton, but we are killing ourselves.

BC needs to spread the floor better and Anderson needs to kick it out quick when the dig down from the guard positions.

Anderson is playing like dogshit today. I guess he's tired, but he's playing no defense, not boxing out, not hustling and can't hit anything.

D- for effort so far. Donahue looked like he wanted to take out a couple chairs there.

What BC needs to get is a quick PG that can get in the lane and create some shots for others...

And their defense sucks. The BC we saw yesterday is not what we are going to get every night. I got way too optimistic.

I really think they need to adjust when the shots are so obviously not falling. More Hanlan driving and feed Anderson, although obviously he's not doing much. How about Clifford?

I hope, but don't know, that this is about as bad as it gets. They're missing threes, they look gassed, Anderson is not scoring, which hasn't happened previously, Clifford remains a non factor.

Yeah, I know, we don't need any backup guards because we have Heckmann and we'll just knock down a bunch of threes eventually. A change of pace is exactly what we need right now - if they aren't going to go inside out with Anderson, they need to run a little and the guards need to stop playing patty cake on the perimeter and take it to the hole.

I'd like to it see attempted other than the sporadic times where Hanlon does it. I credit Dayton - the defensive plan is genius, with the doubles on Anderson in the post and on the ball on screens. With Anderson cold, they'll let him shoot from 15, which other than threes, is the only shot BC can get consistently right now.

When your shot isn't falling you go to the hoop and you run a little to try to get some confidence. BC is just not aggressive right now. They are waiting for the threes to go down.
