Remember, Tebbutt comes from a small town in Oregon; Pullman, Washington might not look so unattractive to him as it does to all us jaded urban sophisticates.

That would be a bad thing...

Again forgive me, but isn't he a 2 guard for 2012? Don't we have enough 2/3s?
Don't we have leads on big men which is obviously a more pressing need?
Or are we looking at taking possibly 4 for 2012 (2 we signed + Tebbutt + big)?

Depends on which agenda you're pushing. If you want the loss of Tebbutt to be program killing, he's the second coming of Craig Smith at 6'5 220something. He would definitely add an element they don't have though. He is a loss. I'd rather have him than the kid from ND and definitely more than the kid from Iona.

Nope, I didn't make a claim to know whether he was good or not. Burden - yours.

You can't tell me my assessment of someone I've watched live twice is wrong when you've never even seen him play.

HJS wrote:Who says Tebbutt even was recruited by BC. To my knowledge, Steve Donahue has offered only TWO schollies for the incoming class of 2012... one to Joe Rahon and one to Olivier Hanlan. Thankfully, they both excepted. Name another coach that has 100% recruiting rate. Christ... even John Calipari missed out on one (Shabazz Muhammad).

BC did offer him. look at his rivals profile.

9903 doesn't believe in Rivals profiles. The only thing you can PROVE is that BC has offered Joe Rahon and Olivier Hanlan. Just because a kid or a coach says something to a glorified blogger doesn't make it so. They could all be in cahoots against BC.
you earlier today wrote:Kris Dunn was the most talked about player over the Spring and Summer. I believe at one point people were hyperventillating over a visit he was scheduling. Just because he ultimately chose a school we could never hope to compete against (Providence), doesn't mean he wasn't an option for the staff. Clearly, you have your own subjective view of what counts as BC having interest and what doesn't.

Are we relying on Rivals profiles now?
