Corporal Funishment {l Wrote}:I just "DVR"-ed the game (thank you for the suggestion, Epstein). If we could overcome the challenge before us today, there's nothing we can't do. Whispers of a "team of destiny" are being heard in Greensboro... these young men don't know the meaning of the words "Thirteenth place!" I sure wouldn't bet against them!

I laughed, not bad.

In all seriousness, I thought BC looked awful. That GT team was miserable. Unless they figure out how to rebound or grow taller, UNC will maul us inside. I don't see how it's a competitive game unless Hanlan goes nuts and that hasn't even helped.

Congrats on the win, but this ends tomorrow with UNC destroying us down low.

Good coaching by Christian today, there's nothing he can do about basketballs clanking off Clifford's hands.

Something about not getting tired off a few days.

I assume if BC decided to use Diallo instead of Cain-Carney we'd mess up his medical redshirt?

one of my biggest personal regrets of the donahue era was buying into dragicevich being "the best player on the team" the year he had to sit out because of the transfer.

damn.

Unfortunately, yes it would burn the redshirt

Not if BC doesn't announce that the shirt is burned. post season games don't count like regular season games in this regard.

You are right. The post season games do count just not like regular season games. 1 tournament counts as 1 game regardless of how many contests are actually played by the team. I was wrong in that Diallo would need to play in 20% of the games to lose his red-shirt. So long as there is not some special clause out there saying you cant play in any games after being given a medical red-shirt, Diallo could play the rest of the postseason and keep his red-shirt.

I had originally assumed that if you played in one contest after being granted the medical red-shirt that this would result in revocation of the red-shirt.

Unlike you, 25 and 12, I acknowledge when I say something that is wrong, or in the MS case and your 25 + 12 argument is just plain stupid.

I'll be kind and give you a hint. Half the redshirt comments on here are stupid and serious, and come from the usual suspects. The other half are ironic and come from the usual suspects. I'll let you guess who fell into what categories in this thread.

yeah, definitely lost sight of the forest for the trees on this one...

it's okay - there is still time for you to declare a redshirt for yourself for 2015

not quite yet but he'd have to declare it today or tomorrow before he gets over 20% of the year.

the bigger issue is that huang is dead and justin is off spending google dollars so there isn't anyone here that will be able to turn his name red as a sign of his declared redshirt.

Theo Pinson a game time decision. That could make 2 McDonald's All Americans inactive, which would leave only 4 left to play for UNC. Without checking, I assume we have at least 5 McDonald's All Americans on our roster, putting us at an advantage this afternoon.
