"A skilled inside-out player, Clifford has good dexterity and footwork inside the paint and has developed himself into a consistent low post scorer. But he is equally skilled on the perimeter, able to step out to 18 feet and shoot the ball and also a good passer both when facing the basket or when playing at the high post.

Clifford made significant strides at Milton Academy this year, playing under former division I coach Lamar Reddicks, as he gotten noticeably bigger and stronger while also becoming more assertive, which has only helped him to continue to stand out during the first month of this spring's AAU season with the Bay State Magic.

Clifford becomes the first player to commit to Donahue since taking over the Boston College job and while he still has some work to do over the next year, he certainly projects to be a good fit for the Eagles in 2011."

Very interesting. Ol' 74 had a long and torrid affair with the despicable Asst. DA Mary Brown (who resembles Prunella Scales), until his wife found him with Ms. Brown in "flagrante dilecto", and fully and forcibly inserted a 22 oz. Newcastle beer bottle in his rectum. It is common knowledge that 74 and Ms. Brown subsequently conspired to frame and railroad young Mr. Starring. Ms. Brown is well known in "supremacy" circles, as is 74 himself. Go figure!

It was said a while back that he always wanted to go to a big 11 school, so no real surprise there.

Recruit candidate: Kyle Cain out of URI
Rhode Island signee Kyle Cain released from his LOI. Sources have told FOXSports.com that the 6-8 power forward wants to go higher level.
per Jeff Goodman's twitter.
October, 2009: Cain is an exceptional athlete with long arms, a cut frame, speed, quickness, the ability to play high above the rim, and a quick second leap. He's tremendously effective when getting out in transition and being around the rim on both ends of the floor, but is ultimately a play finisher and not a player maker. He can struggle with that role at times and is turnover prone when trying to do too much with the ball. He's an undisciplined defender at the moment but has all the tools to be as good as he wants to on that end of the floor.

Evaluation from Class of 2009:

May, 2009: Cain is supposedly reclassifying to 2010 class and going to attend prep school to help him as he continues to mature and give him the opportunity to refine his game. Cain is long and has a very good body and frame to him. He is still maturing and has a raw offensive game in the low post. He runs the floor and showed decent athleticism. He did not have a problem banging with other low posts and showed good shot blocking timing. He did show that he could catch the ball in transition and off dribble penetration and then finish at the basket. He also showed a decent 12-14 ft face up jumper.

I assume we are at least getting our name in there for him, considering the circumstances. Kentucky was there watching him work out so I would think if he is good enough for them, the Don would get in there and try to pull him.

If you actually read the story, it sounds like he actually didn't do any of the shit for which he was accused. Hazing, yes, but the weird stuff, maybe not so much.

2010 prospect Mike Poole...

"Rutgers already has one member of its 2010 recruiting class from St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.) in forward Gilvydas Biruta, and new coach Mike Rice is trying to add a second member from the school in wing Mike Poole. He received an offer from Rutgers, and will be on campus Wednesday to meet with Rice. He is also being recruited by Seton Hall and Boston College."

Judging from the excerpt I read from the ESPN review of Mike Poole, he seems like a puzzle piece. One of those guys that does smart things, but doesn't start. A good puzzle piece goes a long way on a good team (i.e. Dudley for the Suns).

Same thing, which is fine. We need to surround Reggie with some talent. If you've got:

PG Reggie & an improved Paris
SG Elmore & Staring
SF Raji &
PF Trapani
C Southern & Dunn

I'm not saying that team's going to a Final 4 or anything, but I can't imagine we'll be a whole lot worse than last year. Paris and Southern need to get better, and Trap. needs to be more consistent. The back-court is moderately legit anyway. If Donahue could just find one superstar recruit in the '10 Class then we'd be talking. Noreen would help a lot also.

Mike Buffalo is a 6-4 combo guard from New York. He's a 79 on ESPN. He's a project at best, and we can do better. But he's in the class of '10, and we need bodies.

Also, the Dillard news hurts. He would've been a great get for Steve Donahue.

That sounds like a fake name. Are you sure he's not a 22-year-old fake immigrant orphan from Fort Lauderdale?

I hope he's not related to a certain Bill whose picture frequents this board.

But on a more serious note, this kid Kaleb Tarzcewski sounds really good.
April, 2010: While Tarzcewski was up and down throughout the weekend he has an undeniable combination of size and speed, standing a legit seven-feet off the ground and running the floor like a deer. Tarzcewski has added some noticeable muscle mass since last summer and has also become more aggressive, but he can let his emotions get the better of him at times. While the young big man was inconsistent throughout the weekend, he was at his best early Sunday morning when he scored 25 points, grabbed numerous rebounds, blocked several shots, and altered countless more. His best offense is a dunk at the moment and he gets plenty of those by running the court and going to the offensive glass. He needs to continue to develop his offensive skills, establish a signature move in the low post, and continue to get game experience to improve his overall basketball I.Q.
As a high school sophomore at 7 feet 220 and this skilled he is most likely going to blow up, we better make him a priority.

Projo makes it sound like we are out on Noreen...

PC has welcomed Minnesota’s Mr. Basketball, 6-10 forward Kevin Noreen, to campus in the last 10 days. Noreen signed with Boston College last fall and enjoyed a big senior year, but he dropped the Eagles when they fired Al Skinner. He is now considering Oklahoma, Northwestern, Arkansas, Indiana and PC

Well I was looking at the TOS database today and I saw him for the first time and he only had Liberty Michigan and BC listed but looks like they put him as committed later on in the day.
