On a related note, Don is in trouble.

It continues to be ridiculous to think donahues job is close to in jeopardy, but this extended bench is fucking unwatchable.

To be fair, I mean in trouble as in I think it's a very small chance he's still the coach at BC beyond the year the Anderson class graduates. He is not in trouble this year.

gaelfu {l Wrote}:Stop being so dramatic. The ACC is not weak enough for this team to go 1-17. They will win 4-6 games, and Don will be able to show a total of 4-6 wins of improvement overall from last year. He's not getting fired this year. I just don't think he has more than 2.5 more years in him.

Playing like this, I want to know which games we will win

I really hope this is just the freshman wall... and that there's a sophomore wall. Also, is Dennis Clifford dead, or hobbled? What is he doing for rehab? Running 8 miles on pavement? I know big men's knees are shotty but... come on.

We won't play this shitty every night. I'll stick with my preseason prediction other than the UVA game and predict wins in the following contests:

Clemson, Wake, Maryland, GT

So one less NCAA tourney bid than Curley, Eisley, Huckaby, and Abram?

We'll win more than 18 games in 2015... I'd be disappointed if that's all we win next year. cool your jets, fellas.

Are you saying the team is worse than last year's team? I think that's a stretch.

In any case, doesn't really matter, as I am predicting Donahue is not the coach for the 2015-16 season, and not because he leaves for a better job. Failure by a little or failure by a lot is still failure nonetheless.

I hope Hairston has to wear one of those stupid looking Rip Hamilton masks and it makes him suck after some of the flops earlier, fuck him.

I hope he doesn't die though or anything, I didn't realize that was his head not his face that got smashed.

Since the Miami game this team has been playing worse and worse every game. I know someone is going to scream MORAL VICTORY but we played well against NC State and Miami. We played okay against Maryland. Like shit against UVa. Somehow, even worse tonight.

hjs post, but fuck all of you who were killing me for calling a spade a spade earlier this year.

this team sucks and we have 3 players.

two players that are OFTEN on the floor wouldnt even be the best player in a 5 on 5 plex pickup game.

Ain't gonna happen. Team needed to be better this year for me to have any confidence in any kind of extended success down the road.

Honestly I travel 50 weeks a year for business so no. I go to all the weekend games and am a Roundball Club Member.

Again I want this to work and Donahue is such a nice guy, but this product sucks.

I can never tell how much of this you watch as you came in earlier in the season and didn't comment for a few games, but while maybe I'm blinded by what I want to see happen, it has seemed very clear to me that this team was exponentially better than last year when they were running the limited bench and often looked like it was more talented than Wake, Maryland, Va Tech and even NC State but they only go about 4 and a percentage deep. Way too much depends on Clifford's health right now and if he can't play significant minutes I guess your earlier 18-20 game prediction seems right to me. If he can I think this has the potential to be a very good team with two more decent players preferably a big and a swing type.

i initially posted this on the heels of 5 consecutive wins and a moral victory (so 6) vs nc state.

guy, UNC will be fine. their players are all five-stars, and their best players are usually wearing pinstripes.

my mistake, thanks

as do i. i like donahue but this is terrible

as cag said we're three recruiting classes into the donahue era, and there are about 5 players who belong on an acc team
