I don't know much about recruiting and how successful we should've been with this crew (my hunch based on y'all is we should've done better)...but can you blame the kids for not wanting to come to a program that won 8(?) games last year and gets less people in attendance than the local high school basketball games?

PS, Das Big Man played two years at Albany and didn't really do much until he dunked on Hilton Armstrong, Josh Boone, Marcus WIlliams, Denham Brown and Rudy Gay all at the same time.

can't fault a kid for going to stanford for both (1) better education and (b) better basketball.

i know that your efforts to matriculate to the 13th grade didn't have you looking at what these sorts of schools could do for you but from those of us that did... trust us that stanford is much better (and not just because it is a university with an engineering school)

I agree. The only good reason Sharma had to choose BC over Stanford was that BC was closer to home, and for all we know being close to home may not have mattered to him.

Also, he kind of had to stop pushing the Jets agenda, they are terrible.

But we were - and are not - and are unlikely to ever be under the self-esteemed school personnel now at the helm - an attractive option for any top tier coach.
