If you wanted a quick turnaround, you should've hired a real basketball coach, which would have been expensive. BC is cheap (There's no evidence not to support this based on our last few hires).

As it is, Hurley had 2 years to recruit Terrell, we had about 2 weeks. Mann's mother recently became the Head Coach believe at FSU.

I still think Christian is a disaster level hire, but losing these two doesn't change my opinion on him one way or another.

So did we come in second or third?

It will be very interesting to see what happens.

No. This is very good work.

Pre-emptive news from the "always a bridesmaid, never a bride" department:

Jeremy Miller (remember him?) has a final 5 of Wisconsin, Xavier, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and BC.

Aaron Brown is a good pickup. We should be a good team this year.

All that being said there are huge question marks for the 2015-2016 season with tons of open spots and so far no commits. I really think we have the pieces to make the NCAA tournament this year, but it isn't going to matter much going forward because by then it will be too late in the recruiting cycle to pick up enough top talent for 2015.

hold your horses on the NCAA tourney. Diallo, plus Batton plus brown, minus Anderson, may, if things play out well get us to .500. Nowhere near the NCAA tourney. We won 8 games last year. I don't see a 14 game jump at a minimum based on this offseason.

They will be mediocre. It's not a good team or a tourney team, but they could get to .500 and 5-6 wins in the ACC

this gets us to 15/16 wins

a win in the acc tournament

maybe a spot in the CBA tournament or one of those

I really hope this kid starts next to Hanlan instead of Jackson, im all set with seeing him try and play defense. If we make it the NIT I'll be happy.
