Basketball wise they've lost an entire decade of alums due to their sucktitude. I can think of maybe 1 person my year that gives a shit, let alone attends a game. the last time this program went to the tourney was 7 years ago let alone won a tourney game (9 years ago). for a p5 program that's absurd.

idk, Providence hasn't won a first round game in about 20 years and people still show up in large numbers for the most part. I think it can be turned around relatively quick from a fan perspective, if only because people are starving for something. Basketball is just a different animal than football which I think is much easier to bring back fans because of the nature of games (once a week on weekends, tailgating aspect, etc)
