Why am I seeing this headline over on the EA message board? Can someone shed some light on this one?

"Boston College didn't make the cut." - Larkin
Top 3 of Colorado, DePaul, USF.

Head-scratcher for sure.

Damn I really wanted to get Larkin but it's not the end of the world. We still got Reggie for next year and Moton and maybe Lonnie Jackson can be the back up. Now we have to lock up Cunningham. PG will def be a top priority for next year.

PG should still be a top priority this year....though there isn't a lot out there right now.

This might sound crazy but Josh Turner is still out there. I graduated from SAcred Heart with him last year and i know he was taking a prep year this year cause of his grades. He's big at 6'5 but excelled when he had the ball in his hands and proved to be a great passer so he could probaly step in and play the point. ESPN has BC involved.

Never seen him play so coming from a place of ignorance here. Based on his description and academic issues apparently, no thanks.

ryan arcidiacono needs to be priority 1 next year. I woul love Alex Murphy, and kaleb Tarczewski, and I hope we get Zach Auguste but Arcidiacono needs to be at the Heights in a few years.

Larkin said he wanted to start all 4 years, maybe Reggie's senior year got in his way. Seems like a stupid decision to me, 3 years starting+1 year with good minutes in the ACC sounds pretty damn good to me.

Very frustrating although definitely not the end of the world. It is odd that he decides to pass up an opportunity to be a star in the ACC. After the Jackson and Anderson commits I am not too concerned as our class is still looking pretty good. With Reggie, Lonnie and Moton all able to play PG in 2011 it is not make or break. It would have been really nice to see Larkin choose the Eagles but at this point it is not worth trying to extend any more offers unless Donahue and company can feel pretty confident on landing a player of similar caliber as Larkin. If there is any chance BC can still get Larking I say go for it, but right now staff needs to focus on getting Cunningham and getting strong prospects for 2012 like Arcidiacono, Auguste and Murphy. All in all, if Donahue can get some top prospects for 2012 it is not a bad thing to save a scholarship or two.

This. Auguste would be fantastic, but with all the forwards we have he's not a must. Level of importance:

1. Arcidiacono
2. Tarzcewski
3. Murphy
4t. Ledo (any chance?)
4t. Auguste

Bingo; maybe trotting him out to a huge embarrassment against ND wasn't the best idea.

BINGO....Larkin was not for BC. My source confirmed he was not a good fit at all.

Stevie D.

Trust in him.

This is a long term 2-3 year process. Lazy Elvis left nothing.

My congratulations on catching the Bouquet!

You are so lucky that Umassholes have you and your pal covered!

We may yet see Marco Polo, and Reggie Jackson was OK so +1 for you.
