Turner transferring is a problem as he was one of only a handful of ACC talent on the team. Ultimately, it doesn't matter because Leahy is requiring the next AD to hold off making any moves until the conclusion of each season next year. By that point, Jimmy Mac will either return voluntarily to his comfort zone or be the easiest fire in history.

I feel like BC basketball is in a death spiral

I know that any P5 program is a good hire or two away from being relevant but BC basketball (way more than football, even) reeks of the permanently-irrelevant program that I imagine makes it even harder to dig out of a hole. I know that AJ Turner isn't the difference maker but I just expect only bad news from this team now. Oh well

He's not very good frankly, but the options behind him are disastrous.

Next year is headed for the 0-18 express.

You're being too kind with irrelevant. It's frankly embarrassing.

This has shades of Rahon transferring as a part of Donahue's "rebuild class", which fell apart and cost Donahue his job. A rabbit needs to get pulled out of the bag on the recruiting or transfer market or he's as good as dead with the new AD after next year.

Didn't Turner tell the fans to stay cool in February because this was still a young team with big things ahead?

Do you know who Aj Turner is? Because if you did there is no way you would even consider him ACC talent.

This isn't going to have any effect on next season or the season after. The program is in too deep a hole for any player on the roster to make a difference.

He was the 4th best player on the team. You can go find another AJ Turner the skill set is not unique.

He's ACC talent and CYO aggressiveness. If he had any fire, he'd be a very good player.
