If what they are saying about them playing defense, they could approach .500. They will have trouble scoring however. 15-17

Hope I am wrong.

Clifford (Donahue Recruit) averages double double. Hanlan (Donahue Recruit) averages 20 pts. 25 wins (all attributed to Donahue's recruiting).

Looking at the schedule, I'll say 14 wins: 7 non-conference, 7 ACC. Christian lets the seniors play in the CBI this time, as it turns out to be their only chance for postseason play.

Go eagles! :screamyeagle

16-16

We win all but 1 of the games we should win, with 3 being too close for comfort.

We win one of the games we should not, with what some might call a "moral victory" for playing it close in 3 or 4 of the games.

About .500 in the games that are more or less a "toss-up". 1 blow out win, 1 blow out loss here.

I predict I won't care what the Win/Loss record is for the 2014-2015 BC Basketball team.

This use of the plural made me laugh out loud, nice work.

After a disappointing start to the season, Christian decides to mix things up by putting KC Caudill in as a point guard while down 15 with 5 minutes to go against Providence. The Eagles lose by one but score a huge moral victory, which of course is just what the crowd at Conte has been waiting for. After that the team takes off like a Saturn V rocket on meth amphetamines. Basically unstoppable, with the exception of 8 or 9 conference losses. A bubble team going into the ACC tourny, that raw recruit guy from Cali, I forget what his name is, Diablo? Anyhow, he finally "gets it" during the tournament final versus UVA, employing a Harlem Globetrotters approach to ball handling. Down by one with four seconds to go, Hanlon inbounds it to Diablo who tucks the ball under his jersey and then poof it disappears. The UVA team is dumbfounded, and then suddenly, underneath the basket on the other end of the court, Heckmann, who since the second half of the Syracuse game has been wearing a top hat and cane during games, removes his hat to reveal the basketball perched on his head. Unfortunately he's called for traveling while putting the ball up for an easy lay up, and BC's hopes for a magical comeback and a trip to the NCAAs are gone. Still, everybody agrees, even Maroon and Gold, that BC scored a huge moral victory just by being in a position to win the game.

15-18.

if were not at least .500 it will be a massive disappointment in my eyes. we will have the best player on the court conservatively 90% of the games.

I don't understand why saying they are donahue recruits means anything at all. JC has been here 6 months obviously he hasn't had time to get enough players in here to contribute to this years success/failure.

Donahue won in his first year with all of skinners guys. That was a tourney team.

Unless you of course are being sarcastic, in which case this is somewhat funny.

he is in love with coach beeker and feels that he was fired too soon. he's trying to point out that although beeker was rallied against for his lack of recruiting; the recruits that he brought in are going to get 25 wins (which further proves that if beeker had been given the full 4 years to get his guys in place, he would have showed all of us that he was more than a whistling nincompoop).

i cannot confirm or deny whether 9903 is dating and/or married to beeker

I would never try and make time with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's main squeeze.

I don't know if anyone is left here that was in my class (Pedro seems to have retired to the clubhouse with bignick), but if they were they might know that Bunsen Honeydew graduated from Boston College in 2003.

I actually think the part you bolded is right. That said, I think he is off on the first part. If everything falls into place, maybe, but it won't.

After reading this, I'm going to change my prediction to 14-18. Let the excuses begin.

Q. Do you like the schedule that you've inherited?

JIM CHRISTIAN: It's a schedule‑‑ again, the non‑conference schedule is one that I had to inherit the majority of it. It's not easy, but it wouldn't have been probably the way I would like to set up, but the schedule is the schedule, and the ACC schedule, there is no easy ones anyway, so whenever you play them you play.

I'm more concerned now about the developments of our team, our understanding and what the foundation of our program is going to be and their understanding of what the foundation is and not worry about stuff like that.

When you have the talent we have its going to be tough.

I'll go 13-19 and I'm being generous. Buzz Williams will coach circles around JC is those fantastic contests.

I'm 99% sure he's complaining about the non-conference having so many bad teams and then having to jump into ACC play with a bunch of the powerhouses early on. That's what he means when he says it's not how he would have set it up. He just didn't say it right. Luckily for him I'm here to translate. Maybe he should hire me to do so full time! :P
