Good for him, he really couldn't miss against Bryant. Once he puts on some weight he could become really good.

Awesome accomplishment. He looked like a scared kid when he started at the beginning of the season and to see his confidence grow is a great sign for this team in general. Maybe three weeks from now, John Cain Carney will be in the discussion for the Naismith.. SO MUCH POTENTIAL. :banana

Can someone who has seen the last few games give an indication as to whether Jackson looks like he has the potential to be a go to scorer later in his career or is he purely a spot shooter? Not that the two are necessarily incompatible in college, but the games I've watched were before he showed anything. Can he drive at all?

Next year when he puts on 20 lbs or so he'll be an all around scorer. This year he's going to get banged around pretty bad when he goes to the hoop. He's more aggressive and has better awareness than Danny Rubin which should at least keep him relevant in ACC play.

I'd agree that when he gets stronger he should be able to go the hoop... quick enough and he has the handle...

Lonnie Jackson's range also extends to NBA Range which should help.

This has to be a mistake. We all learned during the UNH game that none of the freshman are ACC level players.

This is about as old as the John Cahill discussion.

From my very limited time watching these 8th graders parading around in godawful BC uniforms, I have to say that the top 6 players on the team are painfully obvious: Daniels, Heckman, Clifford, Jackson, Anderson and Humphreys. No one should get more PT than these 6. I also think they need to play Caudill more. As the frosh start settling in, D has to reign Hump in... it's nice to have someone who isn't afraid to pull the trigger. But, as the young guys build up their confidence, Hump should be more selective or sit.

Things always seem really old when you make up your mind about them in four and a half seconds.

We are only allowed to beat things into the ground when Al Skinner is on the beating end, right? You are the king of hammering stuff into the ground. Get over it.

Per a source. Boise State Basketball will be brining in a 5th year transfer from Boston College. 6-4 guard Lonnie Jackson.

Chalk another one up for the EO talent evaluator.

This guy is clarifying things a bit now:

Stubbs Zanelli @RivalsStubbs · Apr 30
Jackson will be here on a visit. Nothing shows he is enrolling, he has interest from many west coast schools.

Sorry if the first tweet was confusing to anyone. Jackson will be here on a visit Friday. Here is a link for Jackson. http://m.bceagles.com/m/sports/m-baskbl ... 62923.html

Not actually committed. In any case, I'm glad to see that Lonnie's strong play over his BC career has proved that he has the talent to upgrade to a superior basketball situation.

Just heard him on the radio this morning. He's going to BSU.
