Izzo and Dixon are the two best coaches in the country. Ben Howland, meh.

Izzo, Crean, Painter. Realistically, they should be looking at coaching staffs for assistants at programs where style is well defined. Izzo's staff has always provided good coahces. You may want to consider Pitt, IU, and Purdue's staff for possible good assistants to fit. One thing is for sure, a big name won't fit here and McCaffrey and Baron may be decent coaches but i really want the toughness that Izzo, Crean, and Painter bring to their teams. I'd hit their staffs

Mike Rice is a very good coach, and he recruits well, and he gets the most out of his kids, but he is blowing up. He's going to be one of the top choices on every big opening's list.

Bill Self should be near the top of everybody's list. surprised he hasnt been mentioned yet.

Donovan could coach circles around Dixon. Probably Howland too.
