I listened to Zack Spears' interview with Turner and Robinson. Both guys say they are lifting twice a day and have gained 10 pounds since the end of the season. Zack Spears also said that Sagay has the longest wingspan on the team and that Tava had interest as a tight end from NFL teams, so you can file those under "neat facts"

Can you share anything with us on the potential 5th year big? When you say in the works is it a situation whereby:

1. BC has identified the player, the player will be coming here, but he needs to graduate, submit his transcript..et al

2. BC has identified the player, but the player is still deciding between a few schools including BC

3. BC is going after multiple fifth year 5's and will take what they can get

4. Something different.

Also if you know the player, what type of impact are we looking at?

There is one 5th year 5 man who is likely to come. He's OK. Nobody is buying season tix if he comes, but he will definitely help. The other I cannot really speak about, but if it works out, he would be a major addition, especially with his skill set and how JC would like to play with a talented 5. There is still a possibility of another transfer who would be another major help after he sits. Also cannot say anything else. He is a 3/4.

1. Those freshman were really skinny. Turner needs at minimum 20 lbs of muscle.
2. They just need a center that is athletic and can rebound.
3. This team as currently constructed is going to get beaten mercilessly in the ACC. Graves and Tava are really good additions, but the ACC is going to be absurd next year.

Alex Murphy, now at Florida, is apparently applying for a 6th year of eligibility because of injury. He transferred to play for Donovan and only got a semester with Billy D before he left for OKC. Not sure if anything is definitive in terms of it being granted or if he can play right away (I assume that is the only way/reason he would apply). According to some UF site, there is no room for him on scholarship, so if granted a 6th year, he would most likely transfer elsewhere.

Normally I would agree, and the Murphy's an go F off for all im concerned, but BC really needs some warm bodies at the 4/5 now so I'd take anything tbh
