This weekend marks the third and final live recruiting period of the year for college basketball coaches. The Boston College coaches are out tearing up the recruiting trail again. This is after a strong recruiting weekend in Georgia at the AAU events last week.

Three Boston College Coaches were spotted Wednesday evening courtside for the skilled 7-footer Josh Sharma and his team Mass Rivals. The three coaches are Scott Spinelli, Billy Wuczynski and head coach Jim Christian. The three of them will be very busy over the weekend in Vegas as they have several targets in action. Their targets in Las Vegas are Donovan Mitchell, Tony Lewis, Jerome Robinson, Horace Spencer, Daniel Purify, Markus Mcduffie, Jarred Reuter, Ty Graves and Dwayne Bacon.

Also this weekend in Louisville, Kentucky, Boston College has assistant coach Preston Murphy in attendance Wednesday and Thursday. I have been told that head coach Jim Christian will be in attendance with Murphy on Friday. While in Louisville Murphy will be watching targets 2015 Power Forward Aaron Falzon, Chris Clarke, Barry Brown, Bruce Brown, Terance Mann, Luke Maye and others.

This staff Jim Christian has put together has been wearing out the recruiting trail this summer. Often times being three and four coaches deep to watch particular players and some of the only full staffs around for late Sunday games.

It is believed that Josh Sharma, Donovan Mitchell and Terance Mann are top targets for Jim Christian and company, however Aaron Falzon has been on campus for a visit and the coaches have been seen at several of his games this summer.

This is a big weekend for the program as it is the last time for these coaches to watch their top recruits live for a while.

Another write up on Falzon. He says BC, Harvard and Northwestern are after him the hardest.

Some of the players the coaches have been looking at are relative sleepers, but others are established prospects with strong offer lists. It appears that their reach seriously exceeds their grasp, but if this is even partially untrue, they could really startle us. I'm genuinely uncertain what to think at the moment; my inclination is to fold my arms and wait for the recruiting results to speak for themselves.
