Maryland @ Boston College 2/19

Postby BCEagles25 on Mon Feb 18, 2013 11:53 pm

Maryland 70, Boston College 75

Maryland 18-7 (6-6)
Boston College 11-14 (3-9)

This one was close in College Park. Maryland just came off a huge victory over Duke. I'm thinking victory here.
I like BC basketball.

Ugly, low scoring moral victory. MD is an incredibly stupid basketball team.

I'm not going because of the start time. There, I said it.

I should not have to choose between supporting BC basketball and getting enough rest for my day tomorrow, but this is the way ESPN wants it. I'd go if the game were at 7. I'd go if the game were at 8. But a 9:00 tip puts me home after midnight, and I can't get by on five hours sleep anymore.
This is DGF. Thanks for watching BC sports on your smartphone. If you're in the Chestnut Hill area, watch BC sports at Alumni Stadium and Conte Forum, 2601 Beacon Street Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

1) DOWN IN FRONT!
B) agreed the tip time was why I hesitated going to the game but I'll be there to provide top notch CONTENT such as if the dance team was a 1 shot deal or how Clifford's training for the Tour de France is going
iii) Epstein, I love the 6 AM flights, roads are empty and security lines are short

I'm confused about something. Did Eddie Odio wake up one day and say "From now on, I will be a useful contributor to my basketball team"...and it actually worked?

Eddie Odio just might be my favorite player.. and that's saying something, because I really like this team and BC basketball.

I'm beginning to think Clifford's injury, in the long run, may be a blessing in disguise for the team as a whole. Without it, Odio wouldn't have developed to this extent. Imagine, the next two years, a healthy Clifford and a more-than-serviceable Odio plus some added help from recruiting (to add to our good rotation of guards?)

I may not get a lot of people who agree, but I'm going to throw it out there.

Turgeon looks like a buffoon on the sidelines, if this doesn't workout for him he could get a job at Logan waving in airplanes

That's saying something completely unsurprising. You're from Massachusetts. By state law, your favorite player must be a white person who appears to succeed by playing harder than his opponent.
