ryan day will be our next offensive coordinator. more details to follow.

Any thoughts on how one gets fired after two games (when it took Tranq two years to "resign")?

Or Rogers is the only competent coach and Spaz and GDT threw him under the bus.

You've watched the same offense as me so far this year. Whiel Rogers may have been a "competent coach", he certaily does not appear to have been an offensive guru.

I think he was a vast improvement on Tranq - unfortunately he kept a terrible OLine coach, and it's tough to coach around a line like that.

This is the problem with the piecemeal solution of just hiring a new OC - we need a housecleaning - we need to blow it up and rebuild it.

Was the offense that bad against Northwestern? Rettig threw for 375 yards.

In addition to respecting Coach Rogers' privacy, which goes against every fiber of my nosy being, in response to Gene's request for thoughts and prayers, I took a leave of absence from work, put on my hair shirt, and have spent most of the previous 48 hours on my knees before the Blessed Sacrament, only taking sporadic breaks to flay my back bloody and tighten my cilice, to implore our Heavenly Father and all of the saints for their intervention on behalf of Coach Rogers and his family.

And now I am told that this was all a monstrous lie!!!

ATL's story is being refuted by someone on EA who likes to think he has inside info.

Is he the OLine coach?

How can they get away with firing the OC 2 games into the season and not fire Devine who has been destroying the offensive line since he became employed and Siravo who has been a mediocre recruiting coordinator at best. This is just getting so weird

I got the info this afternoon. Posted it as soon as I could.

Not sure whose idea it was to say it was medical, but that helps Rogers and BC.

I don't know if Spaz wanted him gone and Gene agreed or Gene wanted him on and Spaz agreed but they were in agreement. Rogers was blindsided.

Well, this screams managerial incompetence, at best, and substantial discord among the staff, at worst. Did RoDgers take a philosophical stand against Spaz on strategy or personnel? Was just totally incompetent?

And how could the Athletic department think that the medical excuse would stand up?

WTF is going on over there.

maybe that's how BC Athletics plans to make this season entertaining. after each saturday's immunity challenge, the coaches get together and vote one member of the staff off the team at the team tribal council. i've got my fingers crossed that Devine will be the target at the next tribal council.
