Speaking of coaching candidates, what's Mike Leach up to these days? I like his potential and I don't know why no one ever mentions him.

I am also a Bills fan and I am pretty sure we're Super Bowl bound this year. I mean, KC is really really good. Yes, I'm sure of that.

Since we have so many Bills fans here... what are your thoughts about me adding Swampscott's own (and Coughlin protoge) Dick Jauron to the list of candidates?

I actually really liked Jauron and didn't think they gave him enough of a chance.

What about Gruden? (Assuming he doesn't get the OSU job at the end of the year.)

I actually really liked Jauron and didn't think they gave him enough of a chance.

Yeah he was brutal as the Bears coach, save for maybe one lucky season with Jim Miller at the helm, so you made the right move there. I wish he never got fired because there's few things I like seeing more than having Bears fans hopes dashed. Those few things involve the same for Jets fans and finding out that Al Davis is still alive.

If Grudog didn't make plays for ND and Miami, he ain't coming to BC (especially over places like tOSU). Ultimately, he likes his gig, and if he wanted to move, it would be to another NFL or a factory. He didn't retire like Meyer did because he couldn't handle the day-to-day.

2 things:

A) It's awarded the 2nd week of the year because that's when the Jets have beat the Pats
ii) This is only the 3rd superbowl, Rex won the 1st 2

Schiano has announced a press conference for this Thursday.

He is expected to announce that he has withdrawn his name from consideration so the Scarlet Knights can focus on their upcoming test against the Ohio Bobcats.

Biff Bullkey? He died in 2010. Great coach. Coached for 34 years, and never lost to Walpole.

That's more than Spaz can say. I don't believe he's ever beaten Walpole once in the last three years.

Correct. Spaz has never won a single game on Thanksgiving.

I don't think BC has played on Thanksgiving since the early 1930s.
