All kidding aside... this sucks.

This means that the ACC just got booted from the Gator and could not find a suitable replacement. Piss-poor job on Swoffy for this one. It also means that the B10 will be playing the SEC in the Gator... which will be like the 4th or 5th bowl to set up such a match-up.

For the BE that is. The ACC already had Orlando. It gave up Jacksonville.

This isn't that surprising. Jacksonville is a such a shithole of a city that they're pretty open about wanting schools with large fanbases. They'll get that with the SEC and Big 10. The ACC has too many teams with small fanbases that would be eligible for the game moving forward (bc, gt, miami, wake) and they don't want to have to choose a underachieving clemson team every year.

but Boise has one of the lowest percentages and no one wants the smurf bowl back, which A)damages the converse relationship between HIV/bowl location desirability, and B) shows the Boise State alums have been using protection at the rest stops
