Albright left the game on crutches and is walking around campus without them.

Good news on Albright at least, changed the title of the post as everyone knew Albright was hurt, got a little jumpy there when I saw Scafe wasn't listed, too much coffee.
Really interested on the Williams front though.
Given our sudden apparent depth at linebacker, perhaps Spaz and McGovern are thinking a little 3-4?? Without Scafe, doesn't seem like we have the NT to pull that off though.
ATLeagle {l Wrote}:Fox is also listed back on D. Mulrooney cracked the 2-deep for the first time this year too. The Holloway thing is weird. He played well when he was on the field. The depth at LB is impressive when you consider that Clancy is not on the two deep, Thompson and Herzy are out and WIlliams is now on the Dline.

New here, but apparently the 3-4 is a bit of a running joke. Given that we have KPL coming in, a young LB core, and Lawrence, Sinkovic, others? red shirting, and seem to be lacking in DL recruits, is it that ridiculous for next year? Admittedly never coached or anything, so would be interested as to why it wouldn't work if people have thoughts.

HJS will tell you a) you can't switch back and forth between the two Ds and b) the 3-4 doesn't work in college - it is designed to stop the West Coast offense, and would get obliterated by a power run team or a spread team. And he is right.
