This is pretty much Bill not paying 35 million for mediocrity

I think you will pretty quickly see that Brady wasn't mediocre. I'm happy for Buc fans. But, it is an incredibly weird fit for Brady.

Will be interesting to see who the Pats sign. I thought they may go after Bridgewater. Hard NO on Cam Newton please!

I watched every single game. The receiving talent wasn't great. Brady wasn't great either. Consistently missing WRs high, low, left, or right isn't a receiving talent problem.

My only reference point was that playoff game and it was pretty clear his WR were running bad/incorrect routes pretty much every play.

Cool Again, I watched pretty much every throw of his last year. He was missing Edelman a lot on easy-ish throws that he would normally. I don't think Edelman's in the talent issue bucket.

Agreed. Also, their last three first round picks were a WR, LT, and running back. They even tried Antonio Brown. Perhaps N’Keal wasn’t the right pick, but they were trying to help Brady as best they could.

The lack of receiver talent was the best bit of propaganda in sports last season. Every game former QB buddies were getting spoonfed that theme during pre production meetings. It became almost comical with Romo and Green.

Michel was the reason they won the 6th SB. They got good when they stopped throwing 40 times a game.

Colts sign Rivers. Brady to LA would make more sense than Tampa.

This. Though that's a 3rd rate franchise destined to play in another teams stadium. Basically the West Coast Jets.

Even if average, Brady is a huge improvement over Jameis and his 30 INTs

That's Arians' offense. You won't see any of that with Brady calling the plays.

It won’t be as aggressive, but you’re not going to dink and dunk down the field with Evans and Godwin.

I find Pats fans saying Brady isn't good anymore now that he'll be with a different team pretty fun. It's very Boston fan of you all (note I cheer for every Boston team except for the Pats)

The guys Brady was throwing to downfield aren't NFL WRs.

That's one take on Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu, former first round pick Phillip Dorsett and first round pick N'Keal Harry. The other is that the QB is 43.

He was better two years ago. Rough end to the season but solid playoffs. Last year he was probably in the top 9-12 range in terms of QBs.
