He is being abused every time I watch him.

He looks slow, fat and unpolished.

Brace looked a lot better in his spot play.

Raji needs to step away from the bratwurst buffet, pump iron and drop about 50.

Raji is at least 380.

I'm just turning on the game but he didn't get in until last week because of a sprained ankle. It's probably going to take him a while to get up to speed.

Raji is up against Steve Hutchinson, a lot of people look bad against the best offensive guard this side of John Hannah. That said, BJ showed good quickness disengaging from a bad hold and tracking down Peterson along the line of scrimmage--not a lot of 350pounders can do that.

Remember that Maryland game in the ACC tournament a few years ago when BC went 14-17? Spears missed enough bunnies to make me think they might recruit me if I grew a foot. I could have made those lay ups.

Brace has gotten about 15 snaps in 4 games for the Pats so far, was inactive last week, and has been passed on the depth chart by a 6th rounder.. And DL isn't exactly a position of strength for them this year.

He's a rookie defensive lineman in the NFL. Of course he is going to get manhandled. That will change as he gets older and more experienced.

I do not have the time, but Top 10 DL's do not get manhandled in the NFL and not just this years group.

I may have overstated on a few plays, but he was 375+.

You could easily blow a tire being 50 pounds of brats over the Mendoza Line.

I will say that I was surprised by how often Raji was getting blown off the line. Last year, we saw him dominate offensive linemen on a routine basis. Last night, he was getting tossed around like a rag doll and was never a factor. I doubt it's a strength issue, although I'm sure that NFL linemen are bigger and stronger than most of the linemen he faced last year. Has to be his technique. At least I hope so.

I said this in July and I noticed how ineffective Raji was sometimes late and showed up for 1 play in 3.

I new LUKE before he was the LUKE we know today.

Is new DC Bill McGovern capable of mixing up blitz packages, defensive schemes, and player rotations to compensate for possible weekly disastrous or poor performances at QB or bad offensive execution?

Spaz rarely blitzed until the last 2 years, and then not enough and sometimes just stopped? A corner blitz saved the Clemson game?

A lotta long smash mouth TD scores and McGovern can turn loose a rested defense. That is the ticket to lots of wins.

Herzlich and McLaughlin gone may limit the blitzing in some minds but our top 2 recruits were speedy and smart.

Andre Lawrence and Luke Kuechly:

Burn the 2 Redshirts, send them in on third down on the corners and Blitz the 2 like lightening bolts.

I think the losses of Raji and Brace are way overrated since these guys tired late and maybe a new rotation of all our guys can be more effective.[/i]

He was up against the arguably the greatest offensive lineman in NFL history last night and while he did get handled he showed a couple of times why the Pack drafted him. Give him a break, he'll be fine.
